Job Supply Personnel (JSP)

 

JSP is a specialist employment service that assists people who are affected by illness or disabilities to return to suitable paid work.

We offer a qualified employment support team and employer marketing specialist to support you in your job search process.

We are a free service for eligible job seekers with a disability or health condition.

To begin your time with Job Supply Personnel, you must:

•          Be between 15- 64 years old
•          Have a diagnosed disability or   health condition
•          Be willing to meet with a Job Capacity Assessor/Employment Services Assessor*
  
•          Reside in the South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne

 

*A Job Capacity Assessment/Employment Services Assessment (JCA/ESat) will determine your eligibility for Job Supply Personnel, including the minimum number of hours you are able to work

 

 

What support do we provide?

 

 

You will work with our experienced JSP staff to develop an individualised employment pathway plan aimed at helping you to gain employment that suits your strengths and abilities. This will involve our JSP staff:

• Listening to you to help you to identify your career options
• Organising appropriate skills training for you if required
• Preparing your resume and assisting you with job applications
• Referring you to suitable employers in your local area (we know the market and know who to talk to)
• Negotiating work conditions on your behalf
• Providing support to people whose job is in jeopardy because of their illness or condition
• Providing ongoing on-the-job support after placements
