Emergency Relief & Material Aid

The Emergency Relief Service is based on a ‘needs’ basis.  There are however some restrictions as to what is available and how often.  Some services are offered monthly, some are quarterly.  There is a limit to 2 services in the same visit. Our friendly and helpful volunteers and staff can discuss with you what you may be eligible for at your visit.

 

The service offers food parcels and/or vouchers alternating between the two. We also provide Phone cards and Transport cards to help out with arranging and getting to appointments.  We can also help out with vouchers for clothing at our Goodwill Shop. 

 

We do not take appointments to access Emergency Relief, though if you wish to discuss budgeting advice or advocacy with accounts you are welcome to contact the Material Aid Counsellor to make an appointment to do so.
